Meet Our Minister

    Come On IN!  Welcome HOME!   Thank you for taking this opportunity to get to know Unity of the Palm Beaches.  I am honored to serve this vibrant spiritual community and look forward to meeting you in person.  I am loving the feeling of home at Unity of the Palm Beaches and exploring the many exciting things to do in our community.  In addition to serving as Senior Minister at UPB, I serve our community as a volunteer member of the Board of Trustees for “Speak Up For Kids” in support of the Guardian ad Litem program.
    Having completed Unity Seminary I was licensed and ordained in 2003.  While participating in the ministerial education program I also worked at Silent Unity in the telephone prayer ministry.  I was at Silent Unity until 2004 when I was hired as the Senior Minister at Unity Church in Metairie, LA.  The story of Unity Church of Metairie’s rebuilding after Hurricane Katrina was featured in Unity Magazine, “A Church Without Walls.”  I witnessed firsthand the many gifts of our Worldwide Unity Spiritual Community, and have had many opportunities to share the experience. I received my Bachelors and Masters degrees from the University of Florida, and yes I do enjoy Gator football!
    As a guest speaker in various Unity Churches, on Unity.fm programs, and community activities, my goal is to “share the gifts of Spirit” each day, in each interaction, throughout the year, I believe in “practicing what I preach.”   Since leaving Unity of Metairie in 2008, I have worked with Unity of Sarasota as the Youth and Family Minister, been the guest speaker and workshop presenter at Unity churches, and facilitated S.E.E. (Spiritual Education and Enrichment) courses at Unity of Tampa.
    Prior to entering ministerial school, I worked in healthcare as a nursing home social services director, hospital program director, and community mental health counselor.  Having spent time in the Air Force stationed at MacDill AFB, I decided Florida is my home.  I bring my life experiences; education, work, and prayer experience to Spiritual Counseling in support of helping others realize the Presence within for guidance and support.  My passions are: praying, preaching, teaching, and spiritual counseling.  My “5-P’s” about Unity’s principles are that we are “prayerful, practical, positive, progressive…and playful”  and you are invited to join me on this spiritual adventure!
