Georgette suggested that when the new site committee provides a clear objective of whether the church will be buying or renting, the board will better be able to assess need and short & long term usage of the money.  Board authorized her to open a money market account with Bank of America..

Georgette reviewed bank balances, expenses and income.

Monthly Income: $ 5,051.78 Tithe Board agreed that $1,000 go to Chaplain training and the remaining $4051.78 be distributed as to the agreed upon formula 25% Unity Association, 25% Unity School, 20% SE Region, 20% Gold Coast Subregion and 10% Rosencrans Fund.

In preparation to forming a new Finance Committee, Rick suggested that he and Georgette met to formulate role of committee specifically regarding advice on investments and recommendation of auditors. He also stated that regarding budget, it may fall within the duties of the bookkeeper and Treasurer, with the finance committee reviewing the budget and making a recommendation to the board.  Rev.
